Tragedy struck as a 29-year-old doctor lost his life to dengue in South Kolkata. The young doctor passed away early on Friday morning while undergoing treatment at Minto Park hospital. Family sources revealed that he had been battling fever for several days. Initially, he received treatment at home, consulting with fellow medical professionals. However, as his condition deteriorated, he was admitted to Baghajatin Hospital. Eventually, due to a sudden drop in his platelet count, he was transferred to Minto Park Hospital. Tragically, after four days of intensive treatment, the doctor succumbed to the disease.
